Application for 125 positions of faculty members on Contract basis through Entrance Test in NIT Andhra Pradesh for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor. Applications are submitted online. Proper qualifications and experience are required for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. NIT, Andhra Pradesh has released 125 faculty positions. It is placed that in faculty positions, eligibility criteria are defined at four levels: Assistant Professor Grade-I, Assistant Professor Grade-II, Associate Professor, and Professor on contract basis.
The recruitment for NIT Andhra Pradesh Faculty has begun the process of application as of 19th September 2024, while the last date to submit online applications is 10th October 2024 by 5:00 PM. Candidates must ensure submitting their applications within the said timeline to be included under the vacancies.
There are specific qualification requirements for applying candidates to the faculty positions in NIT Andhra Pradesh, which should be in relation to the specific qualification- appropriate and relevant at graduate or PG level Doctorate in the particular subject area; however there are also age limits applicable for some positions as 35 years for Assistant Professors, 45 years for Associate Professors, and 55 years for Professors.
The amount of the application fee differs based on the categories of applicants. General, OBC, EWS candidates will have to pay Rs.1000 and for Indians who are applying from outside, it is Rs 5000. However, SC/ST/PWD are exempted from application fees. All payments need to be done online at the time of application.
